TIG Welder

Responsibilities

Setup and weld various parts or sub-assemblies for routine established work.

Perform assigned work to time standards and quality expectations.

Account for time and work completed via Job Boss (online computer data collection system.)

Make routine decisions and use problem solving to resolve basic manufacturing issues or seek assistance.

Report and document basic material, production and quality issues.

Qualifications

1. Minimum of three years experience in MIG and TIG welding.

2. Must havea basic fabrication background.

3. Experience in a manufacturing environment.

4. Basic knowledge base of inspection tools including: dial calipers, protractor, combination square, tape

measure.

5. Demonstrated competency in basic shop math.

6. Ability to utilize blueprints and other drawing aids.

7. Flexible and responsive with a strong teamwork orientation.

8. Good verbal and written communication skills.

9. Desire to learn new skills and improve technical knowledge.

10. Strong orientation toward quality, safety, and continuous improvement.

11. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment.

12. Understanding and support of company policies and procedures.

Physical Requirements

Manipulate up to 50 pounds frequently.

Twist/turn frequently.

Sit and/or stand for up to eight hours daily.

Work in a fast-paced industrial environment.

Wear steel toe work shoes, safety glasses, ear protection
