Your Role at Acousti

The Sage Intacct Administrator is responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and supporting Acousti's Sage Intacct cloud-based accounting system. This role serves as the link between Finance, IT, and Operations-ensuring system reliability, user adoption, and continuous improvement. The ideal candidate brings both accounting and systems expertise, helping Acousti leverage technology to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and insight across the business.

Key Responsibilities

In this role, you will:

  • Serve as the primary system administrator for Sage Intacct, managing users, roles, permissions, and audit controls.
  • Assist end users with all modules, including GL, AP, AR, Cash Management, Fixed Assets, Consolidations, Projects, Contracts, Purchasing, and Inventory.
  • Develop, test, and deploy workflow automations, smart rules, and custom objects to improve business processes.
  • Create and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and KPIs for accounting, operations, and leadership teams.
  • Coordinate and support integrations between Sage Intacct and related systems (e.g., Miter Payroll, Velixo, High Radius, and banking platforms).
  • Lead data imports, migrations, and validation as required.
  • Collaborate with Finance and IT to evaluate enhancement requests, manage release updates, and implement new features.
  • Provide onboarding, training, and user support; develop SOPs and maintain system documentation.
  • Troubleshoot issues, manage support tickets, and liaise with Sage or implementation partners as needed.
  • Participate in special projects such as system enhancements, audit preparation, and process re-engineering initiatives.
  • Partner cross-functionally to ensure financial data integrity, compliance, and security standards are upheld.

What We're Looking for in You

To succeed in this role, you should have:

  • 4 + years of relevant accounting systems experience, including 2 + years as a Sage Intacct Administrator
  • Proven ability to configure modules, manage integrations, and develop reports within Sage Intacct.
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups, macros) and comfort working with CSV imports and data sets. Experience with Velixo a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Exposure to API integrations or automation platforms.
  • Background in construction and/or manufacturing environments.
