We are looking for an individual willing to role of up their sleeves, be a part of the new growth in our everchanging and adaptable department. Currently, we are seeking a Talent Sourcer to take ownership of the critical, front-end function of talent acquisition for Henry Ford Health (HFH). This is a highly focused role responsible for proactively identifying, engaging, and thoroughly pre-qualifying top, diverse talent for various roles across our system, with a specific emphasis on niche and hard-to-fill positions.

This position is distinct from the broader Recruiter function; your work is concentrated exclusively on sourcing and deep screening. You will build the foundation of our pipeline by delivering high-quality, pre-vetted candidates, ensuring the Recruiter can focus on managing the later stages of the hiring process.

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Sourcing: Develop and execute advanced sourcing strategies to identify and attract diverse candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, databases, professional networks, and proprietary tools.
  • Needs Analysis & Partnership: Collaborate with Recruiters and Hiring Managers to gain a deep understanding of unique operational needs, role requirements, and ideal candidate profiles for specialist positions.
  • Candidate Engagement: Proactively engage potential candidates, effectively articulating the Henry Ford Health value proposition and building genuine interest.
  • In-Depth Screening: Conduct thorough initial screens to assess qualifications, cultural fit, and motivation before presenting candidates to the Recruiter.
  • Pipeline Management: Build, nurture, and maintain robust talent pipelines to ensure a reliable supply of candidates for both immediate and future needs.
  • Market Intelligence: Provide ongoing market insights and competitive intelligence to inform and adapt sourcing strategies.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in high-volume recruiting, dedicated talent sourcing, or a sales role with a strong emphasis on prospecting.
  • A proven track record of successfully identifying and engaging top-tier talent is essential.
  • Technical Proficiency: Strong command of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) is a must.
  • You should be highly experienced in utilizing various sourcing tools, including social media platforms like LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed, and relevant industry-specific forums and professional networks for talent acquisition.
  • Familiarity with AI-driven sourcing technologies will be a significant advantage.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills are crucial.
  • You will need the ability to build rapport quickly and effectively articulate Henry Ford Health's employer value proposition to potential candidates. Analytical Skills:
  • Strong analytical capabilities are required to accurately review candidate profiles, assess qualifications against job requirements, and make informed recommendations for moving candidates forward. Adaptability: The ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and adapt quickly to evolving recruiting needs and market changes is key to success in this role.
