The Windows Fundamentals team is looking for an Senior Product Manager to take Windows fundamentals to the next level.The team's mission is to drive great fundamentals across Windows by partnering with engineering teams on marquee experiences and empowering teams with tools and platforms to measure, refine, and ship delightful experiences with great fundamentals. You'll be continuing our tradition of taking a data-driven, principled approach to our partnerships and holding ourselves and partners to a high bar. We invest in optics to understand product truth, defense platforms and tools to prevent backsliding, and go on offense to get ahead of the competition and drive best-in-class product improvements. We partner across the company with key teams such as Teams, Edge, Office, and Surface, as well as outside the company with silicon partner and Original Equipment Manufacturer. You will be responsible for helping chart the vision and strategy for a broad space, delivering on that vision, and fostering a great team culture. ResponsibilitiesStrategic leadership: You will work with others to define priorities for investment, strategies for product improvement, delivering at scale, and investing in systems and tools to improve fundamentals.Partner engagement: You will be engaging deeply with partners in order to achieve our shared goals.Leadership: You will lead cross company and cross industry initiatives to improve battery life for over 1 billion customers worldwide.Technical depth: Our problem space is often deeply technical. You don't have to be a perf/power/silicon expert today, but you should have an affinity for technical challenges and diving deep.Embody the Microsoft culture and values. |
