ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
  • Understanding of CNC machine programming and operation.
  • Knowledge of materials and machining processes.
  • Make necessary adjustments to maintain product quality and machine efficiency.
  • Identify and troubleshoot machine malfunctions, resolving issues promptly.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
  • Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
  • High level of precision and attention to detail to produce high-quality products.
  • Ability to identify and correct errors or inconsistencies in the production process.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machines and production processes.
  • Proactive approach to identifying potential problems and implementing solutions.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Communicate effectively to coordinate activities and share information.


QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Previous experience as a CNC machine operator, typically ranging from 1-3 years, depending on the complexity of the tasks.
  • Experience in a manufacturing or production environment, demonstrating familiarity with production processes and machinery.
  • In-depth understanding of CNC machining principles, including tooling, cutting speeds, and feeds.
  • Knowledge of geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T) and its application in production.
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM software for creating and interpreting machine programs.
  • Understanding of different materials (e.g., metals, plastics, composites) and their properties relevant to machining.
  • Knowledge of material handling and preparation for CNC machining processes.
  • Proficiency in setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines.
  • Ability to perform precision measurements using tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
  • Competence in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics.
  • Skill in writing and modifying CNC programs to meet specific production requirements.
  • Capability to lift and handle heavy materials and machine parts as required.
  • Dexterity and hand-eye coordination to manipulate tools and components accurately.
  • Flexibility to adapt to changing production demands and schedules.


Education/Experience/Other Skills & Abilities:



  • 1-3 years industry experience preferred
  • High School diploma or GED preferred. In lieu of diploma, relevant work experience demonstrating the required job skills and abilities needed to successfully perform the job
