The Position

2026 Summer Intern - Roche Academy

Our Indianapolis campus is home to U.S. research and development, laboratory, manufacturing, distribution, IT and administrative operations for the following business areas: Diabetes Care, Professional Diagnostics, Molecular Diagnostics, Tissue Diagnostics, Centralized Diagnostics, and Diagnostics Information Solutions.

This internship position is located in Indianapolis, IN on-site.

The Opportunity

Roche Academy is a pipeline to full-time employment program providing an opportunity to gain hands-on experience and exposure careers in service supporting the Roche Diagnostics customers across the U.S.

  • Hands-on experience by developing skills vital for a future career at Roche.

  • Challenging projects, take ownership of business-critical projects with real impact.

  • You will work directly with Roche equipment alongside dedicated professionals in the biotechnology industry.

Program Highlights

  • 12-week paid internship with the opportunity for post graduation full-time opportunities

  • Ownership of ambitious and impactful business-critical projects

  • Opportunities to work hands on with our equipment and gain understanding of the career opportunities in service at Roche

  • Work with some of the most dedicated people in the biotechnology industry

  • Final presentations of project work to senior leaders

  • Lead or participate in intern committees to design and coordinate program events and initiatives

  • Professional & personal development curriculum throughout the program, including networking opportunities, workshops, and panel discussions

  • Participate in volunteer projects, social events, and team-building activities

  • Paired with a 1:1 mentor through the Roche Young Professionals Business Resource Group and past Roche Academy graduates

  • Access to on-site fitness and wellness center (subject to change)

  • Program start date: May 18th, 2026.

Who You Are (Required)

  • This program is open to candidates studying in a STEM field with targeted graduation in December 2026 or May 2027.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills.

  • Complements our culture and the standards that guide our daily behavior & decisions: Integrity, Courage, and Passion.

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location for this position in Indianapolis is $26.00 - $28.00 per hour. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. This position also qualifies for paid holiday time off benefits.
