As a Cost Analyst, you will maintain and develop the bank's cost accounting and allocation methodologies. Support service transfer pricing processes and profitability analyses as it relates to operating expense assignment (cost).
In this role you'll have the opportunity to:
- Partner with business lines to maintain and develop cost accounting models, ensuring alignment with operational strategies.
- Effectively communicate cost concepts to non-financial stakeholders and translate business needs into actionable, cost-driven insights.
- Assist in the monthly processing of cost allocations.
- Provide cost rates for profitability analysis.
- Assist in validating monthly and year-to-date results of cost allocations in financial statements.
- Evaluate cost model assumptions for reasonableness and consistency. Inform management of those assumptions which appear to be unreasonable or inconsistent.
- Assist in maintaining the Bank's organizational profitability models and client profitability dashboard.
- Assist in operational analyses to identify services provided by various organizational units
Education & Certifications
- Bachelor's Degree: Accounting, Business, Economics, Law, Computer Science or other related field required (an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered)
Experience
- 2 or more years related experience, preferably within a financial institution.
- CPA or CMA Preferred
- T-SQL Preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proven ability to operate independently in a deadline-driven, high-volume office setting, maintaining focus and accountability in a fast-paced work environment.
- Possess good analytical, verbal and written communication skills and an understanding of financial instruments, markets, and accounting.
- Possess understanding of financial accounting, balance sheets and income statements.
- Ability to solve problems creatively while complying with regulations and guidelines.
- Deliver superior customer service.
- Proficient with MS Office Suite, especially Excel; SQL database.
- Knowledge of cost accounting methodologies and best practices.

Compensation & Benefits
- Targeted starting compensation range is based on location and experience: $30.34 - $35.70
- Incentive and commission compensation may be awarded for eligible roles
