Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Coordinator-Supply Chain Inventory Management.
In this role, the successful candidate we are seeking is a detail-oriented and proactive professional to join our Supply Chain team. This role combines logistics coordination, inventory management, and operational support, ensuring timely and accurate distribution of materials. The individual will partner closely with internal departments, clinical staff, and vendors to streamline processes, resolve supply chain issues, and support operational efficiency. The position involves both hands-on stockroom setup and technology-driven inventory analysis, using systems such as PeopleSoft. This role also involves hands-on physical tasks such as setting up stockroom equipment, moving materials, lifting, and reorganizing storage spaces as needed.
Job Responsibilities:
- Assist in reorganizing storage areas to optimize space and accessibility.
- Collaborate with vendors to track orders, resolve discrepancies, and ensure quality standards.
- Coordinate the receipt, storage, and distribution of materials to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
- Generate and analyze inventory reports; recommend adjustments to meet operational needs.
- Maintain and monitor inventory levels; process adjustments and update records as needed.
- Maintain strong relationships with clinical and operational teams to ensure materials meet end-user needs.
- Support ongoing process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve supply chain issues, including backorders and delivery delays.
- Update and maintain product location data and inventory systems
- Work closely with warehouse, purchasing, and clinical teams to manage product changes, stockroom setups, and replenishment schedules.
- In addition to the above, the candidate will be expected to adapt to new responsibilities as required, reflecting the evolving nature of the position.
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a -3+ years of experience in logistics, inventory management, or supply chain operations.
-Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
-Bachelors degree or equivalent experience.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint; Access and Visio a plus).
-Strong problem-solving and organizational skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
-5+ years of experience in logistics or healthcare supply chain operations.
-Bachelors degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field.
-Experience with inventory management systems (e.g., PeopleSoft).
-Familiarity with process improvement methodologies.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $64,350.00 - $68,900.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
