Summary of Job Duties:The Training & REEport Coordinator's job duties include having primary responsibility for overseeing NIFA project deadlines for faculty research project reporting to government agencies. The position involves developing and maintaining reference guides, collaborating with departmental REEport reps and managing user roles in the REEport system(s). It also requires tracking multiple deadlines during the year, sending out calls for new REEport projects, annual and final reports, and then following up with reminders as needed to ensure deadlines are met.

The Training & REEport Coordinator has primary responsibility for setup of REEport worktags in Workday and assists Principal Investigators with submission of REEport projects in various REEport portals. Also assists leadership in developing the financial REEport reports, and reviews and approves the use of Hatch Multi-State travel funds.

The position supports the organization with training on financial work processes and creates and maintains the related training documentation on those processes. This includes but is not limited to, how to enter costing allocations, entering payroll accounting adjustments, verifying PCard charges, training approvers on reviewing fiscal transactions, and other fiscal related work processes.

The position oversees the housing database, associated taxable fringe benefit tracking, and housing audits/appraisals. The coordinator collaborates with Procurement to maintain all required lease agreement documentation.

Other general duties include ordering office supplies for Business Office staff, maintaining stock on general office supplies for copy room, and other duties as assigned. The coordinator may also lead special projects and reports to the Senior Director of Business Planning and Intelligence. Qualifications:

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet NIFA project reporting deadlines.

  • Train faculty on the NIFA REEport processes and deadlines.

  • Develop and maintain financial work process training and documentation.

  • Setup REEport worktags in Workday.

  • Assist in developing financial REEport reports.

  • Review requests for use of Hatch Multi-State travel funds.

  • Use existing Access databases, REEport portals & Workday to maintain and pull data.

Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with Excel.

  • Experience with Workday.

  • Previous work experience at an institution of higher education.
