The SCADA Team Lead will be an essential part of our team to grow the consulting practice in the Operational Technology and Real-Time Systems domain.


Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of SCADA engineers within multiple industries and applications: Distribution Electric ADMS, including VVO and FLISR; Midstream Pipeline industry, etc.).
  • Responsible for working directly on SCADA projects, including leading the SCADA workstreams and relevant workshops, with tasks including SCADA database migration and build, SCADA displays, SCADA RTU updates, Point to Point testing, etc.
  • Contributing to plan/design of SCADA and ADMS systems and the associated applications and integrations, including ICCP.
  • Responsible to troubleshoot complex issues and work with technical experts across various domains to resolve challenges.
  • Responsible for identifying and addressing gaps in relevant execution processes.
  • Understand data architecture and dependencies for SCADA and ADMS/EMS systems to drive system builds, implementations, and end-to-end testing with key upstream/downstream systems.
  • Partner with IT teams to ensure data interfaces are aligned with requirements.
  • Provides real-time support to operations by analyzing and resolving application and data issues to ensure high quality application solutions.
  • Conduct system and acceptance testing to ensure functionality
  • Support go live cutover and hypercare.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience working within the Distribution Electrical Utility or Pipeline industry with relevant experience in SCADA project implementation, and/or operational support and management of SCADA Systems, ADMS Systems, and relevant applications and/or Advanced Apps.
  • Direct experience with one or more leading SCADA/ADMS Vendor platforms such as GE, AspenTech/OSI, ABB, Schneider Electric, or Oracle.
  • Experience working on multi-disciplinary teams with well-defined project execution processes.
  • Experience with all aspects of typical project implementation: Plan, Design, Build, Test, Cutover, Support
  • Experience with SCADA system commissioning and deployment to live operational systems, including familiarity with Distribution Control Center and Line operations and experience working with Operators and Lineman.
  • 5+ years of Management experience with 4+ direct reports
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or Power Systems Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent.
  • One or more of the following:
    • Experience with Electric Distribution SCADA and/or ADMS Applications, including:
      • SCADA: Data Acquisition & Processing, Alarms, RTU Configurations, Analog/Digital Control, tagging, RTU template or SCADA Point List creation, Point to Point testing, Display creation, and scripting.
      • ADMS: Impedance and As Operated models, State Estimation, Distribution Power Flow (DPF), Load Flow Analysis/Unbalanced Load Flow, Feeder Reconfiguration, Volt Var Optimization (VVO), and Fault Location and Service Restoration (FLISR)
    • Experience with Advanced Gas Pipeline applications:
      • Gas Measurement (i.e., AVEVA Measurement Advisor, Quorum FlowCal, etc.)
      • Gas Nominations and Forecasting (AVEVA Gas Day Advisor, etc.)
      • Control Room Management (CRM) applications.

Compensation: In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition. Compensation will vary based upon experience, education, skill level, geographical location, and other compensable factors.

Other Compensation: Employee may be eligible for participation in the Company's annual Discretionary Bonus Program which is contingent on Company, Business Segment, and Individual performance against Key Performance Indicators which vary by year and employee.

Salary Range

USD $135,000.00 - USD $165,000.00 /Yr.
