Position Overview:
We are looking for someone who can support the warehouse functionality, and you will be in charge of receiving, processing, and shipping materials & products. You will also help maintain the organization of products/components, collect data on the inbound/outbound materials,
and find ways to improve the process.
What you'll do as the Receiving Clerk:
The requirements below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. Support all warehouse functions to include:
* Check in product, non-product, and supply receipts at receiving door
* Verify PO receipts against Receiving tickets, and assign appropriate warehouse bin locations
* Move and store product in correct bin locations, and to make stock movements accurately and timely
* Collect inventory quantities & variances, and bar code data of all assembled orders, package orders for shipment, and perform quality control for the process
* Assemble products accurately, and in a timely manner using printed collates
* Fill and seal packaged orders, and stack pallets to prevent damage in transit
* Complete shipping documents as required by collate (LTL BOL's, Export Commercial Invoices, SED's) (training required)
* Confirm shipments in computer system, and collect tracking data
* Take initiative to maintain the cleanliness and process efficiency for your area of work
* Work safely, and in compliance with all documented policies and procedures, and report any potential unsafe conditions to your supervisor immediately

What you will bring to the team:
* Legal right to work with the U.S.
* High School diploma or equivalent
* Ability to read, write, speak, and understand the English/Spanish language(s)
* Excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively engage with, present information to, and respond to questions from team members, other departments, administrators, general public, customers, and contracted suppliers
* Perform duties and tasks with an awareness of all documented policies and
procedures
* Interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
* Solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations, where only limited standardization exists
* Able to operate a PC (will train on program specifics)
* Capable of heavy lifting (up to 70 lbs. with help)
* Must be familiar with and capable of operating warehouse material handling
equipment (i.e. hydraulic jack, forklift, hand truck, etc.)
Qualified candidates can expect an hourly rate of $17.50 per hour.
