Location: 4620 S Sam Houston Pkwy W #440 Houston, TX 77053

Schedule: Monday Through Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Perform all necessary clerk duties related to the fulfillment of prescription orders including any or all the following: unit doses, specialty pharmaceuticals, injectables, IV, enteral and related supplies following state and federal regulations and company policies and procedures

  • Process, pack and ship outgoing pharmacy orders, ensuring drug, related supplies, and patient collateral education materials are included

  • Responsible for medication/supply ordering and overall inventory process, including proper storage of medications and supplies and appropriate refrigeration of perishable products, monitor and adjust/calibrate pharmacy equipment, fill dispensing units

  • Assist in training and orientation of new employees through SOP's, escalating any gaps in process or quality to leadership

  • May act as a resource for others, owning and completing more advanced projects as directed by leadership

  • Perform cleaning of equipment and supplies, per policy

  • Maintain all HIPPA information and adhere to UHG code of conduct

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher) OR 3+ years of Pharmacy or Warehouse experience

  • Active and unrestricted Pharmacy Technician License or registration where required by state law

  • Intermediate level of proficiency with driving continuous improvements and implementing change in an organization

  • Intermediate level of proficiency with driving results through effective Performance Management practices and tools

  • Beginner level of proficiency with computer and Windows PC applications

  • Ability to work onsite at 4620 S Sam Houston Pkwy W #440 Houston, TX 77053, Monday Through Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm

  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs

  • Ability to stand for an 8-hour shift

Preferred Qualifications:

  • National Pharmacy Technician Certification

  • 1+ years of Home Infusion experience

  • Pharmacy software prescription data entry experience

  • Prior inventory management and pump maintenance/management

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to create a positive working culture of collaboration, recognition, and inclusiveness

  • Ability to focus on workload and achievement of both production and quality objectives

Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, we offer benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). The hourly pay for this role will range from $17.74 to $31.63 per hour based on full-time employment. We comply with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
