As the Technical Program Manager for Infrastructure Security at Scale, you will be instrumental in driving the future of AI and Machine Learning across diverse industries. Reporting directly to the Head of Global Forward Deployed Infrastructure & Security, your pivotal role will ensure the effective operation of our forward deployed engineering teams, upholding the highest industry standards.

You will serve as the primary Program Manager, collaborating with all teams across the Security and Engineering departments, including Product Security, Delivery, Infrastructure Security, and Assurance. Additionally, you will support our Public Sector and International Public Sector business, ensuring that our deployments meet the unique requirements of these varied sectors.

You Will:



  • Lead strategic planning initiatives for the Infra Security department, setting goals and identifying key performance indicators.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders across the company to improve processes and procedures, ensuring Scale's continued success.
  • Track resourcing for the Security departments, including vendor management.
  • Create an effective feedback loop between all teams within the Security departments, as well as with partner teams like Legal, HR, Engineering, etc.
  • Collaborate with customers to define and execute technical requirements.
  • Build, maintain, and regularly communicate detailed reporting to inform strategic decisions across the company.
  • Ensure that Scale's security and compliance practices align with industry standards and regulations.


Ideally You'd Have:



  • Proven experience in security and compliance, with a focus on cross-departmental collaboration.
  • Experience in project management, including planning, organizing, and managing resources.
  • Demonstrated understanding of security practices within cloud environments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience in a high growth, fast-paced technology company.
  • An action-oriented mindset, balancing creative problem-solving with a strong drive to achieve outcomes.
  • Demonstrated history of fostering cross-functional collaboration with Delivery, Sales, and Engineering teams.
  • Current or past Security Clearance.


Nice to Haves:



  • Proven experience in contract review, including close collaboration with legal teams on contractual matters.
  • Experience with microservice architecture.
  • Experience applying AI or Machine Learning.
  • Strong analytical skills, with experience using data analysis tools or software.
  • Backlog refinement & roadmapping experience with tools like Linear and JIRA.
  • Background in Software, Security, or System Engineering.


Note this role must be based within the continental United States and requires current US Citizenship to support Scale's Public Sector business.

Compensation packages at Scale for eligible roles include base salary, equity, and benefits. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position, determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, interview performance, and relevant education or training. Scale employees in eligible roles are also granted equity based compensation, subject to Board of Director approval. $144,000 $247,000 USD
