STS Line Maintenance is hiring A&P Mechanics in San Antonio, Texas (SAT). We are seeking highly motivated Aircraft Maintenance Professionals to join our team and help us grow our line maintenance station. In this role, you'll play a critical part in supporting daily maintenance operations while ensuring top-level service and reliability for our airline partners.

Job Responsibilities & Duties

  • Report directly to the Line Maintenance Station Manager and Station Leads
  • Work closely with airline partners, flight crews, and Aircraft Maintenance Controllers
  • Ensure aircraft are maintained to airworthiness standards prescribed by regulations, directives, company policies, and best practices
  • Inspect, test, troubleshoot, adjust, and repair aircraft airframes and engines using hand tools and test equipment
  • Maintain the highest level of quality and integrity in all work performed
  • Adjust, repair, or replace defective components based on test analysis while following technical manuals and schematics
  • Use precision instruments and equipment to measure parts for wear and repair or replacement
  • Perform additional duties as needed
  • Work outdoors in varying weather conditions
  • Perform maintenance on multiple aircraft types, including Airbus A320, A300, A330, Boeing 737, CRJ, and Embraer 170

The Ideal Candidate Requirements & Qualifications

  • Must hold a current and valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification with no history of infractions
  • Recent A&P experience on turbine-powered aircraft preferred
  • Previous experience on Boeing 737, Airbus A300, A320, A330, or A220 is desired but not required
  • Gen Fams on 737, A300, A320, A330, or A220 will earn a higher pay rate
  • Must own a set of standard line maintenance tools (calibrated and specialty tooling will be provided)
  • Self-motivated with a positive attitude and ability to work independently
  • Ability to stand, climb ladders and stairs, and lift up to 50 lbs. unassisted
  • Must pass background check, drug and alcohol test, and obtain customs and border patrol clearance
  • Basic-to-mid-level computer and organizational skills required
  • Experience under an FAA-approved Part 145 repair station or Part 135 operator is highly desired
  • Inspection Authorization (IA) license is a plus
  • Must be able to read and interpret aircraft maintenance manuals and specifications
  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, and hydraulic systems with minimal supervision
  • Flexible schedule availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
  • Strong communication skills, customer focus, and commitment to excellence

Pay & Benefits

  • Pay range: $34 - $40 per hour, based on experience
  • Full-time employees receive PTO, Health Insurance, and 401K benefits
  • Part-time positions do not include benefits
