Overview: Full-Time: Main Campus, Mon-Fri: Day Shiftwith rotating weekends and holidays The Cytogenetic Technologist processes clinical specimens from patients who are referred for constitutional cytogenetic diagnosis or select cancer FISH analysis. The ideal candidate will perform sample handling, sample quality control assessment, and complex laboratory processes and associated analyses in this position. Additional responsibilities involve providing friendly customer service, assisting with operational improvement, and performing required lab-associated tasks to include preventative maintenance. An opportunity is available for on-the-job technical training for candidates who meet the minimal qualifications for the position. Job Description Summary: Job Description: Essential Functions:
Education Requirement: Bachelor's degree in a chemical, biological, clinical or medical laboratory science, or medical technology from an accredited institution, or Bachelor's degree equivalent education as defined in the Code of Federal Regulations: 42CFR493.1405(b)(5)(i)(B). Certifications:

Experience: Genetics laboratory testing experience, preferred.
