We are currently seeking a talented bilingual (English & Korean) individual to join our Smart Factory Team as an AGV Associate in Clarksville, TN as part of the new LG Electronics Tennessee Factory.

This position pays $63,000 annually and up depending upon experience.



About the Role
Join our Smart Factory Team and help shape the future of manufacturing automation at LG Electronics. We are looking for a motivated bilingual (Korean and English) professional who is excited to work with Automated Guided Vehicles (AGVs) and Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs), the systems that move materials throughout our high-tech production facility.
This position is part of a collaborative team that supports projects to make our production smarter, safer, and more efficient. It's a great opportunity for someone early in their career who wants to grow in automation, intralogistics, or smart manufacturing.


What Our Team Does
As part of the Smart Factory Team, you will:


  • Support and improve AGV/AMR operations that automate material handling across the factory.
  • Assist in designing and updating factory layouts using CAD tools and AGV control software (ACS) when production environment changes occur.
  • Contribute to in-house logistics optimization, intelligent system development, and data-driven performance improvement for autonomous production.
  • Investigate system issues through root cause analysis, reviewing system data and logs to identify and resolve problems.
  • Collaborate with engineers and developers in Korea and the U.S. to improve system performance, integration, and reliability.
  • Participate in DX (Digital Transformation) and AX (AI Transformation) projects that enhance production and logistics systems.
  • Support general activities such as purchasing consumables, 5S and safety improvements, and fixed asset management.


(New team members will receive training and gradually take on more responsibilities as they grow in the role.)

Preferred Skills and Experience
You don't need to have everything on this list, but the more you bring, the better.


  • Bilingual in Korean and English (required)
  • Experience or coursework related to manufacturing, automation, or production systems
  • Familiarity with MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint) and data visualization
  • Experience with CAD software (AutoCAD or similar)
  • Understanding of AGV/AMR fleet management systems or Digital Twin concepts
  • Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
  • Experience with databases and data analysis
  • Skills in programming, simulation, or system integration
  • Experience with project management or cross-functional collaboration
  • Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methods
  • Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills
