Position Summary:

This role focuses on meeting and greeting guests while checking IDs for entrance to the bar. It is expected you will deliver exceptional guest service in a fast-paced bar environment while promoting safety and hospitality. Must be knowledgeable of Idaho liquor laws and accepted forms of ID. Should have a level of comfort in managing conflict when necessary.

Weekend availability throughout the winter season is required.

Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities:
  • Must be knowledgeable on all forms of Identification accepted in Idaho State and Idaho state liquor laws.
  • Ability to greet guests in a friendly, sincere, and welcoming manner while maintaining service and speed.
  • Must be comfortable with conflict management and promoting a safe environment.
  • Fast and efficient cleaning of table, floors, bathrooms, and sections as needed for fast guest turnover and retention.
Secondary Responsibilities:
  • Work behind bar as needed
  • Handle cash as needed
  • Shovel snow
  • Other duties as assigned

Specific Job Skills:

License/Certifications - Idaho State Police Alcohol Beverage Training Certificate (training provided)

Technical - None

Physical Capabilities - Able to stand or walk for up to 8 hours per shift. Will lift to 50 lbs. occasionally.

Additional - Strong attention to detail. Must be capable of managing and performing multiple tasks simultaneously.

Education/Related Experience:

Minimum education required - English reading, writing and communication; plus basic math.

Minimum time in related position - 1 year Guest service experience preferred
