MSOE has the perfect opportunity for you! We are seeking a full-time University Services Officer to join our Public Safety team on 3rd shift Friday through Tuesday. The essential function of this role is to provide safety and security for the MSOE campus, including the residence halls. University Services Officers check the identification of anyone entering the residence halls, answer the telephone, and monitor the department's video surveillance system. As a University Services Officer, you'll play a key role in ensuring the MSOE campus remains a safe and secure environment for students, staff, and faculty. Other Duties and Responsibilities Assist the Public Safety Director with updating the Public Safety Department Standard Operating Procedures Assist with Evacuation Drills This list of duties and responsibilities is not all-inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous Public Safety experience helpful but not required Physical Demands While performing the duties of this job the employee is largely sedentary, the ability to move is required. The employee is occasionally required to traverse within their work area as well as other areas on campus. The employee must also have the ability to handle several tasks simultaneously.
