Medical Call Center Representative Warrenton, VA Pay From: $20 per hour MUST: The Medical Call Center Representative or Medical Scheduler will have experience: Previous experience working in a medical office Must have basic knowledge of scheduling appointments EMR experience is a must Strong phone, verbal, and written communication skills along with active listening Customer focus and adaptability to different personality types Ability to multi-task, set priorities and manage time effectively Capability to run a second monitor DUTIES: Schedule, confirm and reschedule patient appointments for all procedures Coordinates exams with clinical staff when needed Obtain, enter, and update all patient information, in the patient electronic records to maintain accuracy for scheduling and billing purposes Obtains all required information/documents for scheduled exam and procedure; may require verification and clarification by contacting referring providers Obtains all necessary Laboratory Result for scheduled exams and procedures Obtain and upload insurance verification eligibility via insurance portals when needed Responsible for providing patients preparation, pre-operative, medication, and/or other instructions that are required based on established protocols Maintaining and updating a 24-hour patient list for follow up, assuring patients are promptly scheduled with no delays Maintains strictest confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA guidelines/regulations Understand and support the practice policies and procedures Quadrant is an affirmative action/equal opportunity employer.
