The Spare Parts Administrator in the S+N Global Service organization will be responsible for coordinating supply chain logistics of Service Spare Parts between S+N distribution centers and Global Service Repair Centers. The Spare Parts Administrator will ensure timely delivery of spare parts to the Global Service Centers, monitor inventory levels, and promote communication between Distribution Centers Supply Chain, Global Service Center Planners, and Service Management. This role requires an individual who can work independently, multitask, and communicate effectively with stakeholders at various levels. This Spare Parts Administrator role will be based out of the Oklahoma City manufacturing site. What will you be doing?
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of spare parts to the global Service Centers
- Lead Service Center forecasting with Global Planners
- Conduct Forecast analysis and engage appropriate buy/planners as needed
- Generate weekly backorder report and coordinate prioritization with Material Handling, Buyer/Planners, and Global Service Center Planners
- Monitor and Report Service Center KPIs and supplier trends which impact the Service Business (i.e. on-time delivery, quality issues, inventory levels).
- Ensure timely processing of forecasted orders within the ERP system (STO generation)
- Verify, update, and obsolete Material Master data in ERP to ensure efficiency in the order processing
- Drive investigation into backlog situations (i.e. non-pulled inventory, extensive backorder, inaccurate inventory)
- Audit Global Service Center order entries to confirm compliance and educate on procedures as required
- Manage relationships with Oklahoma City Buyer/Planners & Global Service Center Planners
- Assist with implementation, education, maintenance of supply chain processes procedures
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely delivery of spare parts to the global Service Centers including Direct support to internal OKC daily needs: 70%
- Assist with the implementation, education, and maintenance of supply chain processes and procedures with Global Service Centers: 25%
- Travel less than 5%
What will you need to be successful? Experience and education
- B.S. in science or supply chain related discipline.
- 3-5+ years' experience in Supply Chain Planning/Warehouse Product movement. Desired in a medical device or related industry in a Manufacturing facility
- Strong knowledge of supply chain processes, procedures, and best practices
Competencies:
- Experience working with ERP systems, preferably SAP
- High level of computer literacy with software such as Office365, Microsoft office applications, and Microsoft Teams
- Significant capabilities Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Power-Point, Power BI, and PowerApps
- Problem solving abilities
- Flexibility and adaptability managing multiple priorities
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Working knowledge of statistical analysis and forecasting
