The Space Dynamics Laboratory (SDL) is seeking a Property Management Specialist to ensure compliance with contract provisions and enhance our property management processes.In this role, you will be responsible for assisting with the management of all corporate- and customer-owned assets of materials and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assists with administering the terms of contract provisions that specify the company's obligations to acquire, control, use, care for, report, and dispose of property
  • Supports all property management functions, including Acquisition, Receiving, Records, Physical Inventory, Subcontractor Control, Reporting, Relief of Stewardship and Liability, Utilization, Maintenance, and Property Closeout
  • Assists in executing the transfer, management, acceptance, and disposition of property
  • Uses system tools to manage and communicate property information and establish/maintain property records
  • Receives, delivers, transports, picks up, disposes, and stores property
  • Uses property control technology and performs physical inventory of materials and equipment
  • Participates in the scheduling and planning of inventory and reconciliation projects
  • Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in business management or related field, or a minimum of five (5) years of experience in fixed-asset management, stock control, stock inventory, or supply techniques
  • Must be self-motivated, possess good organizational skills, ability to pay attention to detail, and have good professional interaction skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and in a team environment
  • Ability to follow verbal or written instructions
  • Well-developed computer skills including Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, and web browsers
  • Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and work effectively to meet changing business needs
  • Able to obtain forklift certification
  • Must possess a valid driver's license
  • Must be a US citizen, lawful permanent resident of the US, or other US person

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Possess a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) or be able to demonstrate experience pulling trailers.
  • Possess an understanding of Federal Acquisition Regulations, Industry Leading Practices, techniques and standards as they pertain to Property Management.
  • Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS) certification from the National Property Management Association (NPMA) or ability to obtain within 1 year from your date of hire

Work Environment & Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to safely lift a minimum of 50 pounds

*Salary Range
  • $46,000 - $109,000
    • Salary commensurate based on education and relevant experience
