The Opportunity: In this role, you will report to the Onsite Supervisor and will work closely with the Avantor's Advanced Laboratory Services professionals to serve our customers by performing customized, mission-based lab work and research protocols that help return time back to science. In this role you will: Inventory Management Oversee consumables and chemical inventory, ensuring accurate documentation and timely reporting Track stock usage, identify slow-moving items, and perform cycle counts and physical inventories Operational Support Manage package deliveries, glass wash services, and product put-away Maintain chemical stockroom and flammable storage areas, ensuring proper organization and removal of expired materials Log incoming chemicals and classify them accurately in the system Purchasing & Logistics Handle purchasing tasks, including backorder resolution, quote processing, and invoice troubleshooting Coordinate shipping activities and manage hazardous material documentation Support chemical waste disposal and shipment logistics with designated vendors Customer Service & Collaboration Deliver high-level customer service while maintaining performance metrics Collaborate with customer stakeholders and internal Avantor teams to ensure smooth operations System & Process Management Utilize platforms such as SAP, Citrix, ChemSW, and customer-specific systems Maintain and update SOPs, and support change management initiatives Manage inbound package delivery and consigned/non-consigned inventory Disclaimer: The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this classification.
