Responsibilities:

  • Prepares license applications, in accordance with NRC and/or DOE regulatory requirements (e.g., 10 CFR 70).
  • Manage the preparation of License Application, Environmental Report, and Technical Justifications.
  • Interpret and apply federal regulation, regulatory guidance (NUREGs, RGs), industry codes (e.g., ASME, ANSI), policies to licensing actions.
  • Manage reviews of what-ifs, hazard and operability analysis, fault trees, event trees, failure modes and effects analysis (FMEAs), reliability analyses, fire hazard analyses, criticality analyses and consequence analyses reviews.
  • Manage the integration of safety analysis and engineering documents to ensure proper implementation of the license application.
  • Track, manage, and respond to Requests for Additional Information (RAIs) and ensure timely and technically sound submittals.
  • Collaborate with the Safety Analysis Team on ISA Summary development.
  • Coordinate with various departments to maintain the Integrated Schedule.

Requirements:

  • BA/BS Degree plus 10 years of direct experience required, or MS with 0 - 5 years' experience.
  • Successful drug screening.
  • Must be eligible to obtain and maintain a security or clearance badge.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • BA/BS Degree in a technical discipline, plus 18 years plus of direct experience required, or an MS with 15 years' experience.
  • Experience with NRC 10CFR70 Regulations.
