The Solutions Consultant is responsible for designing and developing solutions for school districts through the customization of sales presentations for prospective and current customers on our supplemental digital products, ALEKS, ALEKS Adventure, Achieve3000 Literacy and Actively Learn. Solutions Consultant works with Sales Directors to assist in converting prospects to customers and engaging in expanding relationships with existing customers.

A Sales Consultant plays a key role in driving a company's revenue by identifying customer needs and recommending suitable products or services. They build strong relationships with clients, provide expert advice, and guide them through the sales process to ensure satisfaction and repeat business. Sales Consultants must possess excellent communication skills, a deep understanding of the market, and the ability to meet or exceed sales targets.

This is a remote position open to applicants authorized to work for any employer within the United States. Candidates are required to travel about 80% of the time around your territory. Candidates must live within 1 hour of a major airport.

What you'll be doing:

  • Design and deliver in-person or virtual presentations of supplemental education solutions with the integration of consultative strategies in the education market
  • Consult and support the strategy, planning, and delivery of education solutions for key sales opportunities
  • Maintain an in-depth level of expertise of McGraw Hill supplemental and intervention solutions, along with best practices and implementations in classroom and blended education programs
  • Work closely with product and marketing teams to communicate, advocate, and help prioritize clients, sales and market needs and how that influences sales
  • Analyze and build a framework of new and improved sales strategies and presentations
  • Provide cross-functional and industry knowledge to the sales team through continuous collaboration, training, and support
  • Become a trusted advisor to the sales team and McGraw Hill customers, building credibility and confidence in our solutions.
  • Master common use cases, challenges, and industry trends in assigned areas

A successful candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree (preferably in Education)
  • At least 5 years' experience in an education role
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of various classroom and blended learning implementation models for diverse student populations
  • Outstanding speaking and presentation skills
  • Creative and innovator in designing and presenting customized presentations
  • Must be able to work independently and remotely, and travel as needed
  • Excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to be flexible and able to adapt to immediate or unforeseen challenges; able to be persistent and aggressive in balance with building strong internal relationships

The pay for this position is $71,300-$95,000 annually, however, base pay offered will vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
