The USC Dana and David Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences is seeking a Research Coordinator in the Psychology Department. The largest and oldest of the USC schools, USC Dornsife functions as the academic core of the university, offering courses and advancing knowledge across the humanities, social sciences and natural sciences.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with the principal investigator in a small and growing lab.
  • Coordinate & collect data for neuroimaging and behavioral experiments.
  • Process & analyze data and program experimental tasks.
  • General lab administration which may include supervising research assistants, supporting graduate students, planning meetings, maintaining lab equipment, engaging with the internal review board, proof-reading documents, etc.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Strong interpersonal and analytic skills.
  • Experience working with families and children.
  • Comfortable with babies which may be demonstrated by playing, swaddling, and providing a bottle or pacifier, changing a diaper, rocking, etc.
  • Experience with coding (e.g., MATLAB, Python, bash, R, etc.)

Minimum Education:

Bachelor's degree in psychology, neuroscience, computer science, or a related field.

Hourly range:The hourly rate range for this position is $31.08 - $34.00. When extending an offer of employment, the University of Southern California considers factors such as (but not limited to) the scope and responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, federal, state and local laws, contractual stipulations, grant funding, as well as external market and organizational considerations.
