Georgia-Pacific is looking for a Reliability Supervisor to lead the maintenance team at our Bradford, PA corrugated facility. The ideal candidate will provide tactical leadership to ensure maintenance and reliability efforts support the plant's safety, environmental, and operational goals. Responsibilities include guiding the maintenance department to meet targets in EHS, compliance, reliability, quality, production costs, and customer service. The role involves leading preventative and predictive maintenance programs, offering technical troubleshooting support to reduce downtime, and driving process efficiency. Additionally, the supervisor will set performance metrics and foster continuous improvement, employee engagement, and accountability.

What You Will Do

  • Foster a culture of ownership, continuous improvement, and employee accountability focused on safety and quality.
  • Oversee all plant maintenance activities, including electrical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and building systems.
  • Develop and manage daily and long-term maintenance schedules to maximize equipment availability and meet production goals.
  • Lead and participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to identify equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
  • Drive reliability programs, including predictive and preventive maintenance to reduce downtime.
  • Manage and maintain accurate work orders and documentation in the CMMS (e.g., MP2).
  • Coordinate workforce management activities including scheduling, timekeeping (Kronos), and approving timecards regularly.
  • Facilitate onboarding, ongoing training, and development of maintenance technicians using training matrices and collaboration with reliability and maintenance facilitators.
  • Conduct regular one-on-one meetings and annual performance reviews to support technician growth and address performance.
  • Monitor quality and accuracy of maintenance work through spot checks in the field and system.
  • Respond to unplanned events, manage breakdowns promptly, and provide on-call support during off-shifts and weekends as needed.
  • Manage scheduling of time off, shift swaps, and maintain up-to-date technician schedules.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to prioritize maintenance work and support continuous plant improvements.
  • Serve as storeroom backup and assist in spare parts management to ensure availability during repairs.

Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)

  • Previous experience in a maintenance leadership role in a manufacturing/industrial environment OR military environment
  • Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Experience with maintenance planning, scheduling, and coordination
  • Experience conducting incident investigations and performing root cause analysis

What Will Put You Ahead

  • Experience and working knowledge with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS)
  • Associate degree or higher in Industrial Technology or Engineering
  • Experience leading improvement efforts in Reliability and Predictive and Preventive Maintenance
