Job Description

Summary
The Office of Reservations & Events provides logistics and services support for events and meetings across the University of Missouri campus, seven days a week. This includes event planning, setting up rooms, onsite support, and assisting with technology as needed. The EMS Project Coordinator for the Office of Reservations & Events serves as the primary system administrator for the EMS Reservation Software for the University of Missouri and provides support for all users and potential users of the software.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide on-demand support to all campus departments utilizing EMS software for their day-to-day operations as well as everyday users of the web software.
  • Provide software demonstrations, create proposals for projects and onboarding plans for University staff members' or other UM System schools' optimal use of EMS software
  • Onboard new departments and users of the software by providing configuration of their needs within the system and training support through project completion.
  • Develop and maintain an SOP for use of EMS reservation software across campus functions.
  • Audit EMS system and processes for reservations management, generate reports with recommendations for campus standardization to the Director.
  • Collaborate and support integration efforts with other campus tools and platforms.
  • Support and collaborate with other system schools' current EMS use.
  • Compile data reports monthly and as needed by the Director. Reports include key performance indicators, and other data driven information such as usage statistics on the software with comparison year to year.
  • Other projects and duties as assigned by supervisor.
Shift

Monday-Friday, 8am-5pm. Rare occasions may necessitate night and/or weekend work.

Minimum Qualifications

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with EMS (event management software)
Experience with project management, software implementation, and training
Experience in event/hospitality field

A good sense of professionalism and attention to detail.
Excellent customer service skills and experience directly working with people to achieve their desired results.
Ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Anticipated Hiring Range

Salary Range: $52,915.20-$63,000

Grade: GGS-9E
