Student Services & Campus Life Job Description
The Program Coordinator - Childcare Specialist will be part of the Triton Student Parent Success team and will report to the Director of Student Advocacy in the Division of Student Affairs. This position will assist with the coordination of the Department of Education Child Care Access Means Parents in School (CCAMPIS) grant that supports the needs of low-income student parents. This position will primarily oversee grant activities focused on the coordination of childcare services for students, the partnership between the university and centers, and community-level efforts which support the improvement of childcare quality in the area.
Shift
This position is an on-campus position. This position will follow regular campus business hours of 8:00am - 4:30pm, with weekend and evening hours a few times across the year. This position may eligible for a hybrid schedule to include one day of remote work after a six month probationary period and dependent on team staffing and unit needs. Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 2 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary. Preferred Qualifications
Demonstrated experience and skills working with project or grant management Experience working in a higher education setting Experience with early childhood education or childcare sector Anticipated Hiring Range
