Research Assistant - RI CIRP Zhu

Are you passionate about health, safety, and research? Join our team at the Center for Injury Research and Policy (CIRP) at Nationwide Children's Hospital as a full-time Research Assistant. You'll support an NIH-funded study on cell phone use while driving and contribute to projects on distracted driving, drugged driving, teen driving, and child passenger safety. Responsibilities include recruiting participants, conducting surveys and interviews, managing study timelines and IRB compliance, and assisting with other research tasks (some local travel required). Essential Functions:

• Performs semi-independent research experiments reliably and reproducibly in accordance with protocols approved by the principal investigator.
• Collects and curates experimental data, maintains accurate daily logs of experiments including methods and results, and draws preliminary conclusions.
• Assists the principal investigators in the preparation of scientific publications, grant proposals, and presentations.
• Maintains inventory of equipment and supplies and ensures that research equipment is in good working order.
• Follows all appropriate lab safety protocols and other regulatory requirements.

Education Requirement:

Bachelor's Degree in relevant field, required.

Experience:

Research experience, preferred.
