Moog Construction is looking for an Associate Quality Assurance Engineer.In this role you will report to the Project Quality Assurance Engineer and will work on-site in East Aurora, New York.

Moog Constructionfocuses on the construction and mobile machinery industry. The goal is to address global macro trends for green energy, skilled labor shortages and increased productivity through technological disruptions: electrification, automation, and connectivity by enabling automation and electrification outside of the factory. This business unit will pursue a portfolio of strategic Zero Emissions Systems variants.

To be considered for an Associate Quality Assurance Engineer, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Technology or Mechanical Engineering or Bachelor's Degree in other technical field with 3 years quality experience.

  • Experience with APQP QMS Systems is desired

As an Associate Quality Assurance Engineer, you will:

  • Inspection Planning:Develop non complex production inspection plans for receiving inspection, manufacturing, assembly and test, engineering procedures, and first article inspections.

  • Quality Planning:Implementation, and administration of cost-effective and unique Quality Programs. This includes facilitation of Quality led meetings such as Material Review Board, Change Review Board and Corrective Action review Board.

  • Contract Compliance:Maintain compliance with contractual changes related to quality

  • Project Engineering: Performs varied technical tasks requiring the creative application of engineering concepts, statistical methods, and Quality Technology. Lead non routine problem analysis such as product improvement studies or process improvement studies

  • Training:Train and educate teams in program specific contractual quality requirements.

  • Program Support:Provide technical assistance to Manufacturing, A & T, Vendors, Customers, and other Engineering disciplines in the resolution of fabrication, and field related problems

  • Failure Analysis/Corrective Action: Support Failure analysis by utilizing organizational, technical knowledge, analytical and communication skills

Salary Range Transparency:

Buffalo, NY $65,000.00-$85,000.00 Annually

Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees.
