Responsibilities

Arcfield is looking for a SYSTEMS ENGINEER to join a skilled, highly respected and long-standing team supporting Integration, Testing, Analysis and User Outreach for operational and emerging systems. This position requires an understanding of the Intelligence Community and customer domain, along with a strong focus on Systems Engineering processes in support of operational mission execution. The successful candidate could support process evaluations, risk and opportunity assessments, and/or new product initializations. Familiarity with current GEOINT systems and products will be useful to develop, assess, and execute initialization and check out methodologies. Activities may include, but are not limited to:

  • Perform analysis and evaluations of operational capabilities
  • Perform project management required for integrating, testing, evaluating systems
  • Performing baseline assessment of system performance to support mission initializations
  • Operational monitoring of system performance over time
  • Algorithm assessment to quantify the performance of a product given desire mission application
  • Responding to anomalous mission behaviors and recommending possible causes and corrective actions

Qualifications

Required:

  • Must possess and be able to maintain a TS/SCI Clearance w/ Poly
  • BS 10-12, MS 8-10, PhD 5-7
  • Experience working in an operational environment and demonstrated knowledge of user needs
  • Experience in mission technical capabilities and system performance analysis and assessment
  • Understanding of the systems engineering life cycle to include all aspects of system integration
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills; Demonstrated ability to clearly explain technical issues to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Demonstrated ability and success working in team environments
  • Customer focused and capable of representing the customer in user outreach and familiarity training activities and community forums

Desired:

  • Understanding of the GEOINT enterprise TCPED process
  • Experience working in a DoD or IC operational environment
  • Experience working on Mission Integration and Initialization teams
  • Understanding of Machine Learning and AI Solutions
