They act as the main point of contact between the kitchen and the customer, maintaining a clean and organized dining area while adhering to food safety and service standards. The server is our primary salesperson therefore, thorough knowledge of our menus is critical. Essential Functions and Major Responsibilities: Deliver Exceptional Service: Provide high-quality food, beverage, and bottle service while engaging with guests in a friendly and professional manner. Handle Cash & Reconciliation: Maintain a personal cash bank, make change for guests, and complete daily financial paperwork accurately. Ensure Legal Compliance & Product Knowledge: Enforce Idaho State Liquor and ID laws, and demonstrate thorough knowledge of the menu, including allergens and guest recommendations. Perform Operational Duties: Complete opening and closing tasks such as cleaning, polishing, and setup to maintain a clean and organized environment. Manage Tables & Multitask Efficiently: Balance table service with side work, demonstrating strong multitasking skills and attention to detail. Maintain Professional Appearance: Adhere to dress code standards and contribute to the overall cleanliness and presentation of the restaurant. Secondary Responsibilities: Shovel snow Responsible to help with hostess/busser/dishwasher duties. Specific Job Skills: License/Certifications - Idaho State Police Alcohol Beverage Training Certificate and Food Handlers Certification (we will help you obtain). Technical - Basic computer knowledge, Utilize POS System (Squirrel) Physical Capabilities - Combined standing/walking position for up to 8 hours per shift. Required to lift over 25lbs frequently and over 50lbs occasionally. Additional - Strong Guest Service background. Education/Related Experience: Minimum education required - English reading, writing and communication, basic math Minimum time in related position - Minimum of 1 year serving experience required
