Our unit cares for medical and surgical patients ranging from birth to adulthood, with a focus on heart, liver, and kidney transplants, genetic and metabolic diseases, and inpatient clinical research. We also specialize in cardiac and cardiac surgery patients, including those requiring step-down level of care. Common diagnoses include complex congenital heart disease, acquired heart disease, heart failure, and dysrhythmias, managed through both medical and surgical interventions. Applicants with an Associate's degree in nursing from an accredited program may be considered if enrolled in an accredited BSN/MSN program within one year of hire and completing the degree within five years. Active Maryland or Compact RN license required. BLS CPR certification (AHA, Red Cross, or Military Training Network accepted). Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
