ABOUT THIS ROLE

St. Michael's is hiring a Project Manager (PM) to support a federal program. As the PM, you will provide strategic leadership, operational oversight, and quality assurance over the entire project. This role includes managing all aspects of performance-both technical and administrative-while ensuring efficient use of resources. Our core value ofDependabilitywill be paramount to this role as you will be the primary point of contact helping support across multiple offices across our client's organization.

Washington, D.C. (onsite with the potential of being hybrid)

WHO YOU ARE



  • Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting or business management related field from an accredited institution.
  • Active PMP certification.
  • At least 9 years of progressive experience in managing large, complex government programs supporting business consulting, process improvement, strategy, financial management or a related field. Demonstrated knowledge of government program management, government contracting and related practices and procedures, human resources, and experience managing multiple contacts and staff.
  • At least 4 years of experience managing efforts such as auditing federal agencies financial statements or performing audit readiness work for the Federal Government.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in designing and implementing workflows for the federal Government.
  • Familiar with Federal Financial Statements and the Annual Federal Financial Statement Audit.
  • Possess excellent communication skills, being able to communicate effectively and often with senior government officials and their staff
  • Behave professionally and ethically; be responsive, consistent, and produce high quality work products.


PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Preferred experience supporting Financial Operations or Audit Response and readiness within large federal programs.
  • Provide on-site leadership, supervision, and management of contractor personnel.
  • Serve as a single point of contact for the COR; keep government POCs regularly informed of the status of personnel actions/project.
  • Ensure compliance with all project requirements and quality standards.
  • Provide guidance, direction and ultimate management, and reviews all services for conformance to Government requirements.


COMPENSATION:As required by applicable law, St. Michael's Inc. provides reasonable pay ranges for positions based on labor market conditions in locations where compensation transparency is required. The base pay range for this position is $120,000 to $140,000. Final compensation may vary depending on geographic location, relevant skills, experience, and other job-related factors. This position may also be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, based on company and individual performance.

This position is in support of an upcoming opportunity, contingent upon award, and we are actively gathering qualified candidates in preparation for a successful proposal submission.
