Auria is looking for a Project Manager (PM) who will be responsible for managing technical cost, schedule, performance, and client relationships across projects of multi-disciplinary technical teams. Provide some business development and proposal support to aid company growth. This position works under regular but limited supervision and direction. PM will regularly exercise discretionary and substantial decision-making authority. The candidate must be comfortable communicating effectively with executive leadership both internal and external. Knowledge of DoD acquisition practices financial management contracting and program and project management is required. This is a remote position with a preference to be located in Colorado Springs, Co, or Huntsville, AL.
WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT TO DO:
- Under the direction of a Program manager manage project operations and run day-to-day operations across DoD projects to meet program contractual requirements and milestones.
- Monitor project progress, performance, and budget deliverables.
- Develop/update cost estimates spend plans forecasts schedule (MS Project) monthly status reports and other CDRLs.
- Perform regular detailed financial analyses/audits of project status; identify and document risks communicate to stakeholders develop/recommend risk mitigation and/or avoidance solutions and implement as appropriate.
- Manage subcontractor budgets, schedules, and deliverables.
- Identify and foster growth opportunities.
- Support recruitment and assessment selection onboarding and training of new employees.
- Contribute to regular employee performance assessments and feedback.
- Communicate job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising and reviewing job contributions.
- Analyze and improve organizational processes work to improve quality productivity and efficiency across assigned project
- Provide bid and proposal support as needed.
WHAT THE TEAM REQUIRES:
- U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain and maintain a Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems, Engineering or Technical Management, Business Administration, Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered.
- Preferred 5+ years of experience in Project Management leadership role in industry managing Cost Plus Fixed Fee Firm Fixed Price and Time and Materials type contracts of technically complex nature.
- Knowledge of project management principles and common tools and industry best practices.
- Oversee integration of project deliverables with model-based systems engineering tools and Digital Engineering Environment (DEE).
- Extreme attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong technical writing documentation and organization skills.
- Risk and Opportunity management experience.
- Working knowledge of the FAR/DFARS and standard Government contract Terms and Conditions.
- Knowledge across a wide range of technical subjects such as information technology, cybersecurity, penetration testing systems, and software engineering.
- Ability to take full ownership of the position and manage/prioritize the workload independently.
- Strong interpersonal skills to establish and maintain customer and vendor relationships.
- Demonstrated ability to manage staff and work as part of a broader corporate team.
- Ability to work productively across diverse customer sites with different levels of technical focus.
- Demonstrated ability to solve problems and work collaboratively with peers.

WHAT THE TEAM PREFERS:
- Project Management certifications are highly desired.
- Experience with cloud platforms.
- Knowledge of cloud architecture basics (compute, storage, networking, containers, serverless, security, ...).
- Familiarity with software engineering practices.
- Familiarity with agile development lifecycles.
- Familiarity with Space/Defense Ground Systems.
- Working knowledge of Digital Engineering and MBSE practices.
PAY TRANSPARENCY: The salary offered will be based on the selected candidate's qualifications - skills, education & experience - and the position level. $115,000 - $135,000
