Hourly Pay Range:

$23.24 - $34.86 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

A Brief Overview:

The Department Business Coordinator for Nursing Professional Development and Advancement (NPDA) manages the business processes for all Endeavor Health nursing professional development and advancement activities. In addition, this position supports all aspects of Magnet designation, regulatory requirements, and state mandated reporting requirements.

What you will need:

*Education:

Bachelor's Degree in either Human Resources Management or Business Administration/Management or the equivalent of relevant baccalaureate level work experience.

*Experience:

3-5 years related experience in healthcare or business environment.

*Skills:

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities include the following:

  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Multi-tasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet established deadlines.
  • Ability to independently manage projects
  • Excellent math, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Strong analytical, technical and quantitative skills.
  • Must have computer skills and experience with Excel, Word, PowerPoint Publisher, and Adobe Acrobat applications.
  • Must be able to solve problems and handle responsibilities under pressure in a fast-paced office environment.
  • Must be able to work effectively with diverse groups of people.
  • Must be able to make independent decisions, take initiative, and accept responsibility.
  • Flexibility in work schedule

Technical Skills include the following:

  • Learning Management Systems and a variety of other platforms
  • Expert knowledge of all relevant software applications (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher etc.) and able to maximize effectiveness by independently creating required documents using these applications.
  • Expert knowledge related to the applications of virtual meetings (Go to Meeting, Zoom, Teams, etc.) including scheduling virtual meetings, assisting when needed with initiating meetings and supporting educators in learning these applications and coordinating with the Learning Management Systems. Also, knowledge of live Web Casting.
  • Competent in oral and written communication

    What you will do:

    Nursing Professional Development Operations-

    • Coordinates logistics for system nursing councils
    • Manages office supply budget adhering to budget parameters
    • Manages nursing intranet page and education events and programs
    • Manages business applications to support outcomes for NPDA team
    • Leads logistical management of nursing professional development and advancement orientation, annual and ongoing education, and transition to practice programs
    • Administrator of selective learning management systems
    • Administrator of electronic survey tools
    • Collaborates with Nursing Communication Specialist to create marketing materials for system NPDA events and programs

    Analytical Functions-

    • Analyze, track, maintain, and calculate data for all NPDA programs and events, supporting the advancement and development of all Endeavor Health nursing teams
    • Data gathering to support Magnet program recognition and regulatory reporting requirements
    • Management of the American Nursing Credentialing Center Continuing Education Provider Unit data requirements

    Program and Project Management-

    • Administrator for all system educational platforms
    • Oversite for all Nursing Professional Development and Advancement foundational funds and grants
    • Partner with NPDA team to determine placement of student rotation requests and completion of required onboarding processes
