Overview The Distribution Engineering department is seeking a highly motivated and versatile Engineer to join the Overhead Standards and Planning (OHSP) section. The ideal candidate will have experience in the design of electric and electrical facilities or equipment and must be capable of managing multiple projects with shifting priorities while meeting tight deadlines. Strong independent judgment and sound business decision-making skills are essential.As part of the OHSP team, you will collaborate with various field and engineering groups across Con Edison that support the overhead and underground residential distribution systems. OHSP is responsible for:Developing, maintaining, and updating standards and specifications for overhead system design across all voltage classes, including non-network systems such as 4kV grids and auto-loops.Creating and managing equipment drawings and specifications.Evaluating and approving equipment based on vendor testing results.Serving as a critical link between engineering and field operations to ensure alignment and effective implementation.This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the reliability and modernization of the electric distribution system.Responsibilities Core Responsibilities
