What You'll Do
  • Design mechanical components and mechanisms for electrical connections, conductors, and assembly integration
  • Develop innovative technologies and manufacturing techniques for enhanced performance
  • Conduct thermal and structural modeling of components and systems for optimization
  • Build prototypes and validate functionality through lab testing and real-world applications
  • Collaborate with electrical engineers and PCBA designers to integrate components into electro-mechanical systems
  • Partner with reliability engineers to ensure design robustness and longevity
  • Work with manufacturing engineers and suppliers to transition concepts into high-volume production

What You'll Bring
  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent experience
  • Demonstrated experience in mechanical engineering within product design and manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of high-volume manufacturing processes such as injection molding, die casting, stamping, and extrusion
  • Proficiency in CAD modeling, with CATIA V5 experience highly valued but not required
  • Ability to travel 10-15% of the time
