A Brief Overview The Business Analyst leads efforts between stakeholders across the Foundation and the Technology Team to develop digital solutions that advance philanthropy. In that pursuit, the Business Analyst will conduct research, understand user needs and how those connect to other business requirements across the Foundation document business cases, analyze systems and processes, strategize and recommend solutions, elicit requirements, and engage stakeholders. This position will serve as a liaison to stakeholders on behalf of the project team and contribute to change management efforts focused on data literacy and technology adoption. This position requires strong communication and analytical skills, understanding of fundraising practices, and in-depth knowledge of SalesForce for non-profits, project management and diplomacy skills.
What you will do
- Conducts project discovery through industry research, stakeholder interviews, process analysis to understand business objectives and requirements.
- Develops presentations and written business cases, project scopes, analysis, and recommendations in formats that are accessible to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Facilitates deliberation with project team to determine how to achieve project objectives and KPIs effectively.
- Identifies and mitigates dependencies, constraints, and other risks impacting project delivery.
- Translates project scope into roadmaps and collaborates with the Project Lead to create detailed project plans.
- Serves as the liaison between users and project teams, ensuring clear, transparent and consistent communication across stakeholders.
- Produces story maps, flowcharts, process maps, wireframes and prototypes for testing and validation.
- Designs and facilitates user acceptance testing, synthesizing feedback for technical changes and/or training.
- Writes post-project summaries to document progress, learnings, and recommendations for streamlined efficiency.
- In collaboration with the Project Management Team, make sure all deliverables meet defined objectives.
- Partner with Talent Management to support project management systems and improved employee experience and training opportunities. Collaboration with Talent Management on process and procedure for onboarding training and supporting training and education for digital literacy.
Education Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree - Required
- Master's Degree - Preferred
Experience Qualifications
- At least five (5) years of relevant work experience - Required
Skills and Abilities
- In-depth knowledge of SalesForce for nonprofits and strategic planning support.
- Understanding of fundraising practices.
- Strong communication skills, including ability to translate and communicate data and complex ideas to a range of audiences, from executive leadership to broad, diverse groups. Ability to create clear, cogent documents and presentations.

$81,670.00 - $104,130.00 Annually
