JJob Description/Tasks/Responsibilities
- Performs full lifecycle craft recruiting and maintains excellent relations with hiring managers, candidates and the community. Assists hiring and human resources (HR) managers with screening and selecting qualified applicants to fulfill staffing needs. Assists and coordinates all recruiting functions.
- Establishes recruiting requirements by studying organization plans and objectives and meeting with managers to identify needs.
- Works with Recruiting Managerto identify strategies for filling open positions.
- Creates and sends offer letters to selected candidates.
- Continuously communicates with hiring and HR managers regarding the status of positions.
- Serves as point of contact for the community with questions regarding recruiting.
- Identifies and utilizes the most effective methods for attracting top talent for open positions including placing job advertisements, social media, networking and using news groups and job websites.
- Determines applicant requirements by studying job descriptions and qualifications.
- Determines applicant qualifications by interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, verifying references and comparing qualifications to job requirements.
- Achieves results in support of HR and company mission and goals.
- Screens and identifies the most qualified candidates for the position available.
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with community organizations, colleges, employment agencies, and recruiters to improve the company's image and build a stronger applicant pool.
- Builds applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters, media and internet sites; providing company information regarding opportunities and benefits and making presentations.
- There is no supervision of other workers at this level.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements/Skills
- Intermediate proficiency using server-based applicant tracking systems
- Intermediate proficiency using Microsoft Office products
- Demonstrated ability to recruit for a broad range of positions
- Ability to travel
- Strong initiative and judgment
- Advanced internet usage skills with experience mining online databases
- Ability to quickly learn systems, processes and procedures
- Strong attention to detail, organizational skills and time management skills
Minimum Education, Experience and Certification Requirements
Bachelor's degree in human resources, communications, marketing or a related field.
Minimum of 2 years craft recruiting experience
