YOU

Maintain the workflow of the Automatics department by coordinating with all department personnel to ensure the timely delivery of all raw materials and components to proper workstations. Coordinate with branch personnel to ensure the timely delivery of all finished goods to the proper location. Maintain locations of all component inventories for the Automatics department.

2nd Shift Hours are Mon. - Thur. 4:25PM - 2:55AM. You will receive a $2.50 shift differential for every hour worked.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING(% of Time)

Assist in all Automatics operations by coordinating with department personnel in order to ensure proper delivery of all pallets, components, material, and finished goods into designated areas by following both verbal and written instructions. (85%)

Run production equipment when required; assist in labeling and packing of items as needed. (5%)

Fill and maintain all home location and component racking. (5%)

Maintain cleanliness of equipment and area. Maintain all scrap and trash hoppers. (5%)

DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE

If you can do everything listed above, you've got what it takes. Perhaps some of the following would be helpful too:

  • Simpson Strong-Tie Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) Certification (will certify at hire)
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent
  • One year of reach truck experience
  • Math: Ability to apply fundamentals of geometry and trigonometry as well as able to apply concepts of fractions, percentages, and proportions.
  • Language: Ability to read and write simple instructions and correspondence.
  • Speaking: Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations.
  • Reasoning: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving variables encountered during the manufacturing process.
  • Problem Solving: Ability to identify options for solving a problem encountered during the manufacturing process.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, see, talk and hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit. This role operates large equipment while standing for approximately 8-12 hours, regularly twisting and bending in a repetitive motion. While performing the duties of this job, the employee may frequently lift, carry, push and pull materials and objects weighing up to 50 pounds, and heavier weights with proper equipment.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

The job may risk exposure to heat and/or cold, loud noise levels, vibration, and moving mechanical parts.

Travel

This job requires no domestic travel.

Work Status & Location

This full-time, non-exempt position is located in McKinney, TX.

Relocation

Relocation is not available for this position.

Pay

$20.87 / hour
