Aon is looking for a Director, Investment Banking, Reinsurance. This role will lead transaction origination, structuring, due diligence, and execution, with a focus on catastrophe bonds (cat bonds) and other insurance-linked securities. Collaborative bond with individuals in the Aon Securities team, along with other groups within Aon's reinsurance business will be critical. What the day will look likeThe talent in this position should have shown experience in initiating and completing transactions, encompassing a wide range of financing options for insurance and reinsurance company clients. They will have delivered and completed numerous transactions, with an emphasis on insurance-linked securities for domestic and international insurance/reinsurance company issuers. This role requires a track record of success in originating, structuring, negotiating, and completing transactions! The person will serve as a trusted advisor to sophisticated insurance and reinsurance clients on financing strategies and other strategic matters. Position Responsibilities:
Exceeds revenue or profitability goals. Conceives and drives business development initiatives with existing or prospective with a wide spectrum of clients. Sets stretch targets on the commercial metrics as the key performance indicators for the team Critical Thinking:Assesses competitors, clients, and market segments to set ambitious but pragmatic business objectives. Evaluates business mix across the firm's investment banking platform. Develop short-term and long-term strategies. Building People Capability:Actively engages with all members of the team, gives critical feedback in performance reviews, and suggests areas for development. Pay Transparency Laws:The salary range for this position (intended for U.S. applicants) is $170k to $240k annually. The actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location.
