Junior AV Field Engineer

We are excited to be recruiting for the next important piece of our history and new talent, a?Junior AV Field Engineer!? This position works closely with the Design Engineering Manager by planning for, organizing, controlling, integrating, and completing AV engineering projects. ?

• Analyzes engineering sketches, specifications and related data and drawings to determine design factors such as size, shape and arrangement of equipment
• Uploads firmware, software, and Configuration of AV equipment
• Utilizes remote desktop applications to both support field technicians as well as remote control system programming support and troubleshooting
• Contributes to the designs of new products and improvements to existing products
• Coordinates and assigns correct actions to layer 1 cabling issues with project technicians
• Reviews designs for compliance with engineering principles, company standards and customer contract requirements, and related specifications
• Develops implementation schedules, test plans, and training programs
• Schedules and resolves engineering design and test problems
• Evaluates and approves design changes, specifications and drawing releases
• Informs team of the progress of projects
• Onsite site surveys, onsite AV system commissioning up to 40% travel
• Performs all other duties as assigned

To qualify for this position, you must possess at least 5 years of relevant work experience experience.

Additional qualifications include:

• Proficient in decision making, multitasking, and time management
• Possess a basic understanding of IP addresses and subnet
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance
• Ability to collaborate and communicate with customers, end-users, and other trades
• Ability to travel to various CONUS and OCONUS locations as required, up to 40%

Pay Range

$60,000 - $80,000

The above pay range represents a general guideline; however, AV3, Inc. considers a number of factors when determining base pay offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
