Job Summary

Assists in the administration of the student conduct process-specifically, behavioral misconduct and/or academic integrity, and the outreach-related to prevention education

  • Assists with the investigation and adjudication of behavioral misconduct and/or academic integrity matters. Interprets and administers the Student Conduct and Honor Code and student conduct processes. Conducts information sessions and serves as a hearing officer for informal and formal hearings. Prepares related correspondence and maintains the confidentiality of student conduct records in accordance with federal, state, and university regulations.
  • Assists the Associate Director in managing the Student Conduct Committee (SCC) comprised of faculty, staff and students, including recruiting and training members, conducting interviews, and creating semesterly calendar for SCC hearings.
  • Serves on departmental and university related committees, works cooperatively with colleagues on campus, and serves as a liaison to the campus and greater community.
  • Assists with the annual statistical and informational reports and the review of the Student Conduct and Honor Code, and policies and procedures of the office of Student Conduct & Academic Integrity.
  • Maintains program files, data files and records for the purposes of data management and reporting.
  • Facilitates and assists in the development of workshops for the university community, including but not limited to, the topics of ethics, personal decision making, academic misconduct, behavioral misconduct and the conduct process.
  • Serves as a liaison with the Office of the Registrar including running regular reports to ensure an Incomplete (IN) grade is assigned for pending academic integrity matters in a timely manner and/ or serves as a liaison with Housing & Residential Experience (HRE) including overseeing case management and training HRE staff on the conduct process.
  • Supervises graduate assistants and practicum students.


Minimum Qualifications

Master's in related discipline and two (2) years' experience in associated discipline.



Desired Qualifications
  • Experience in adjudicating student conduct cases.
  • Experience having developmental and difficult conversations with college students.
  • Knowledge of FERPA as it relates to the confidentiality of student records.
  • Knowledge and proficiency with Maxient.
