Job Title:Project Coordinator

Location: Lockport, LA

Position Overview:
The Project Coordinator is responsible for coordination of monthly program reviews with Operations, Program office, Safety, SCM, Quality and Engineering. Additionally, he/she will be supporting weekly data calls/metrics and progress/time validation.

Key Responsibilities:



  • Responsible for administration and coordination for a project, as a team member and manages correspondence and data assigned by management.
  • Receives, processes, and responds to requests for information concerning job and job coordination.
  • Processes, assembles and tracks performance and progress information thru Bollinger information systems.
  • Support of data management, submissions, tracking, and reporting if required.
  • Provides support to project teams by providing administrative checks and balances to ensure adherence to procedures.
  • Assembles and maintains project files within SharePoint and MS-Teams environment.
  • Performs data management by uploading and downloading data for review and approvals.
  • Regulatory body point of contact for postings and retrieval of information necessary to support assigned project.


Experience:



  • 2 - 5 years of project coordination experience preferred.
  • Professional Office experience required.
  • Experience in manufacturing preferred.
  • Shipbuilding experience is preferred.
  • Some travel required.


Skills and Abilities:



  • Ability to communicate on all levels with Program Management, Quality, Engineering, and Production Personnel to ensure all program requirements are fulfilled in accordance with contractual requirements and obligations.
  • Strong knowledge of cost and schedule performance measurements.
  • Must be able to gather, organize, collate, and distribute large amounts of data to support managing projects.
  • Must be able to prepare presentation materials in support of meetings.
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision and on multiple projects required. Must be highly skilled in the operation of a variety of computer programs, primarily Microsoft Office products.
