Job Summary:

The Forklift Certification Specialist will conduct regular forklift certification classes for our local field associates and customers and play a hands-on role in our industry-leading service delivery and safety program. In addition to prior forklift training/certification experience, this interactive role requires strong coaching, customer service, and communication skills.



Your Role & Responsibilities:

  • Leading regular forklift certification classes for our field employee workforce at our local office and at customer sites.
  • Coaching, evaluating, and developing the skills of class participants.
  • Traveling between our branch office and local customer sites as needed.
  • Fostering an environment of teamwork and cooperation and a culture of workplace safety.
  • Personifying our organization at the client work site; demonstrating the company's and the area's core values, operating principles, and service differentiators.



Preferred Education & Experience:

  • High school diploma or at least 3 years of experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment
  • Proof of current or prior forklift certification

Your Work Environment (Physical Demands):

Remote/Hybrid: Typically work is performed either in an office environment or a suitable workspace to conduct business free of distractions and background noise. This position requires compliance for all occupational safety and health standards, rules, and regulations. Below are a few standards specific for this position:



  • Sit or stand for long periods of time and walk short distances
  • Regularly required to talk, hear, and communicate in writing
  • Adjust to vision for both close and distance views
  • Stoop, kneel, bend, crouch and lift up to 25 pounds



Travel Requirements:

Minimal to no travel time expected for the position.
