We are seeking an Operator to join our team at our Swedesboro, NJ bakery. As an Operator, you will be accountable for coordinating and overseeing daily activities in the Packaging and Retail Bagging Departments to ensure production schedules, quality standards, and safety protocols are met.

• Hours: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM
• Weekend Availability: Required

• Hourly Rate: $20

• Ensure adherence to daily production, packaging, and retail bagging schedules.
• Coordinate, organize, and assign job tasks to team members in packaging and retail bagging departments.
• Verify operational status of metal detectors and perform regular tests per QA guidelines.
• Monitor blast freezer and core product temperatures to meet specifications.
• Adjust and prepare inkjet coder for production and ensure accuracy of lot codes, bar codes, and labels.
• Maintain adequate inventory of packaging materials for daily operations.
• Operate forklift and pallet jack to move products, including freezer transfers.
• Ensure compliance with GMPs, safety protocols, and company procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Packaging Supervisor.

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret production schedules and safety guidelines.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Physical ability to perform tasks in a manufacturing environment.

• Bilingual in English and Spanish.
• Knowledge of inventory control software.
• Forklift certification.
