As a Staff Angular Front-end Engineer, you'll drive a high-impact migration to a cutting-edge monorepo architecture, shaping the future of our front-end platform and influencing engineering practices across the entire organization.

What You'll Do

  • Lead the migration of our front-end applications to a monorepo architecture, ensuring a scalable, maintainable, and high-performing Angular ecosystem.
  • Act as the Angular subject matter expert, setting best practices for component architecture, state management, and performance optimization.
  • Design and implement robust CI pipelines to support continuous integration across multiple teams; partner with DevOps on CI/CD strategy.
  • Provide technical leadership and mentoring, guiding engineers in modern front-end engineering patterns and monorepo best practices.
  • Collaborate closely with product and platform teams to identify technical risks, dependencies, and solutions early in the development lifecycle.
  • Drive operational excellence, improving code quality, testing strategies, and deployment reliability across the engineering organization.
  • Contribute to long-term front-end platform strategy, influencing tooling, coding standards, and architectural decisions.

What You'll Bring

  • Expert-level experience with Angular (v12+) including advanced knowledge of RxJS, NgRx or other state management solutions, and modular application design.
  • Proven experience designing, implementing, and maintaining monorepo architectures (e.g., Nx, Bazel, or similar) for large-scale front-end applications.
  • Strong track record of building and maintaining large-scale front-end architectures, including performance and scalability considerations.
  • Deep understanding of front-end build systems and CI pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or comparable tools).
  • Skilled in modern TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3/SCSS, and front-end testing frameworks (Jest, Cypress, etc.).
  • Demonstrated ability to mentor engineers and influence cross-team engineering practices.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to balance technical trade-offs and drive consensus across teams, backed by 10+ years in software engineering (or equivalent experience).

Bonus Points if You Have:

  • Experience with AWS services or other major cloud platforms to deploy and scale front-end applications.
  • Provided hands-on leadership and mentorship to a team of junior engineers, fostering their technical growth and career development.
  • Background in distance education or EdTech, understanding the needs of online learners.
  • Technical certifications in front-end frameworks, cloud technologies, or CI/CD architecture.

Position & Application Details
