ASSISTANT MANAGER, VISUAL MERCHANDISING - GLOBAL JOB DESCRIPTION: This role focuses on creating visual direction with cross-functional partners to deliver an exceptional customer experience in our global businesses. The role supports the execution of visual strategies across the brand by creating visual tools and resources that allow home office + store associates to plan and execute flawlessly to drive sales. This role will work closely with the Manager, Visual Merchandising on calendars, logistics, process + communications to global and corporate partners.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE
SKILLS/KNOWLEDGE/COMPETENCIES
- Previous project management experience in a deadline driven environment.
- 2 - 4 years' experience in visual merchandising with multi-store responsibility.
- Ability to work with tools (drills, hammers, etc.)
- Ability to move furniture for the set ups.
- Excellent communication skills (written/verbal).
- Ability to work independently.
- Proficient on a Mac.
- Proficient in Photoshop, Illustrator, In-design, Excel, Microsoft Suite
- Stay current on professional practices and trends.
- Ability to work independently and as a team.
- Ability to set realistic short- and long-term goals.
- Ability to write and speak effectively.
- Prioritize effectively and organize work based on urgency and importance.
- Correctly identifies problem and is resourceful and/or innovative in finding solutions.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Ability to be mobile when setting up store floor set for extended periods of time. Ability to lift and mobilize medium to large items, up to 75 lbs., while utilizing appropriate equipment and safety techniques. The expected starting pay range for this position is $70,000 - $75,000. Applicable pay ranges may differ across markets. Actual pay will be determined based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law.
