About the Role

Thomson Reuters is seeking a Product Owner who is skilled with Unison to support Accounting Operations. This role leverages strong understanding of TRTA Professional's business practices, processes and procedures and manages Service Manager ticket routing.

As a Product Owner, you will:

  • Act as a point-of-contact for customer escalations and knowledge resource for Unison processes
  • Act as a key business resource for Accounting Operations by demonstrating expert knowledge of business systems (Unison) and business processes. Work closely with the MIS team to document requirements and test new or updated system enhancements.
  • Serve as a proactive resource to suggest appropriate system changes to the management team that will enhance or improve the Accounting Operations workflow.
  • Maintain an accurate understanding of company and department initiatives, working to support and implement them.
  • Communicate and train team members on new products/services, system/process changes and enhancements
  • Serve as a back-up for Inter-Company Transfers, Chargebacks and Non-Sufficient Funds processing, with a focus on ensuring that cashflow is recovered.
  • Facilitate acquisition and inter-company product transitions as it pertains to Accounting Operations including gaining expert knowledge of the products and/or services through hands-on training, analyzing, and documenting information, working with key personnel to ensure seamless transition of products and/or services without disruption to customers.
  • Provide mentoring and guidance to other members of the Order Team and Accounts Receivable Teams
  • Manage and develop interns and the intern program for Operations
  • Commit to becoming a subject matter expert in Order Entry with the understanding that this represents a significant portion of the Team Lead role.

  • Manage Service Manager Ticket Routing
  • Coordinate Unison technolgy team

About You

You're a fit for the role of Product Owner if your background includes:

  • Expert understanding of TRTA Professional's business practices, processes and procedures
  • Expert knowledge of Unison functionality
  • Strong computer experience and knowledge
  • Exemplary written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Exemplify a high degree of performance and professionalism
  • Detail-Oriented with demonstrated skills in mastering our working environment including processes, procedures, inter-department communications, and various technologies
  • Self-motivated, self-directed, and demonstrated ability to perform effectively and efficiently in a fast-paced, continuously-changing environment
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks according to their importance
  • Willing to take the initiative to seek out answers and additional work
  • Demonstrated ability to promote a team-oriented environment through a positive attitude and willingness to help others
  • Five years of relevant experience, preferably within TRTA Professional with proven knowledge and demonstrated skills regarding business practices and processes.
  • Associates or Bachelors degree in related field preferred
  • May require some travel

Thomson Reuters complies with local laws that require upfront disclosure of the expected pay range for a position. The base compensation range varies across locations.
For any eligible US locations, unless otherwise noted, the base compensation range for this role is $72,100 - $133,900.
This role may also be eligible for an Annual Bonus based on a combination of enterprise and individual performance.
Base pay is positioned within the range based on several factors including an individual's knowledge, skills and experience with consideration given to internal equity. Base pay is one part of a comprehensive Total Reward program which also includes flexible and supportive benefits and other wellbeing programs.
